Established in 1925, HANYS advances the health of individuals and communities by providing leadership, representation and service to not-for-profit and public hospitals, health systems, nursing homes and other healthcare organizations throughout New York state. Our members serve the healthcare needs of nearly 20 million New Yorkers and visitors from around the world, while playing a vital role in their communities and local economies.
HANYS advocates for our members and the healthcare needs of New Yorkers in Albany and Washington, D.C., engaging with policymakers, agencies and the media, often in collaboration with other association and community partners.
