Eric Heintz is an infectious disease specialist. He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. Heintz completed his internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowships at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He consults on patients in both hospital and outpatient settings and provides care for patients with HIV in the community. Heintz serves as the hospital epidemiologist at Highland Hospital, where he works closely with the infection preventionists. He has a strong interest in medical education, antibiotic stewardship
Ann Marie Pettis, RN, BSN, CIC, FAPIC

Ann Marie Pettis has more than 30 years of experience as an infection preventionist with expertise primarily in acute and ambulatory healthcare. Pettis has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as a variety of trade publications, and lectured locally, nationally and internationally. She has served as both president and legislative representative for the local chapter of her professional organization and served in a variety of voluntary and elected positions for the Association of Professionals in Infection Prevention and Epidemiology. Pettis is an APIC fellow and is currently the president of APIC International.
