Stipend opportunity: Increasing the nursing home CNA workforce pipeline

With support from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, HANYS is offering our member nursing homes the opportunity to apply for a stipend of up to $26,000 to help cover the costs of recruiting, onboarding, certifying and training five new certified nursing assistants. Six stipend recipients will receive $1,000 for CNA recruitment and $5,000 for each of five new CNAs onboarded, certified and trained by Dec. 31.
