New maps set stage for upcoming elections

The new congressional redistricting maps were approved by the New York state Legislature and signed by Gov. Hochul this week. They will be in effect for the primary and mid-term elections this year, and remain in place through 2032. GOP officials have filed a lawsuit challenging the new maps.
