Federal advocacy continues
Last week HANYS and several of our member hospitals and health systems met with members of Congress to advocate for New York’s hospitals and health systems and their communities in the face of tremendous federal uncertainty. We encourage members to use our Faces of Medicaid resources to support your outreach to lawmakers.
One-house budgets released: Watch for HANYS’ summary chart
The Senate and Assembly one-house budget proposals advance many of HANYS’ priorities, including increased healthcare investments, investments in new capital funding, rejection of proposed funding cuts and protecting the Medical Indemnity Fund. Look for our updated budget summary chart on our state budget advocacy page next week.
