This week the following bill was signed into law:

• Medication abortion drug labeling – Chapter 7 of the Laws of 2025

The following bills passed both houses:

• Medical debt definition chapter amendment – (A.427/S.753)
• Mental injury workers compensation coverage chapter amendment – (A.1677/S.755)
• Congenital heart defect notification chapter amendment – (A.927/S.763)
• Doula access for expecting and new mothers chapter amendment – (A.1019/S.758)
• Certificates of qualification for clinical laboratories and blood banks and work standards for cytotechnologists chapter amendment – (A.1468/S.765)
• Maternal depression screenings chapter amendment – (A.1025/S.802)
• Doula admittance in operating rooms chapter amendment – (A.1026/S.809)
