This week, HANYS hosted a federal advocacy day in D.C. during the AHA Annual Membership Meeting. HANYS members met with Leaders Schumer and Jeffries and members of the bipartisan congressional delegation. Using HANYS’ advocacy resources, members spoke about the need to preserve critical Medicaid DSH funding and prevent harmful cuts like site-neutral payments to protect New Yorkers’ access to care.
