HANYS raises concerns about Sen. Bernie Sanders’ report
HANYS’ response to the Senate HELP Committee chair’s report scrutinizing the non-profit status of hospitals highlights the vast community benefits provided by New York’s hospitals and health systems and urges Chairman Sanders to reconsider the premise of his investigation.
State legislative activity update
This week, the governor signed the following bill of interest into law:
- Community violence prevention program - Chapter 531 of the Laws of 2023
