President Biden addresses healthcare in State of the Union
In his speech Tuesday, the president affirmed his administration’s prioritization of several healthcare issues including lowering prescription drug costs and expanding Affordable Care Act coverage and access to behavioral health and telehealth services. He also committed to protecting Medicare and Social Security, a key topic of debate as Congress considers how to address lifting the nation’s debt limit.
CMS updates fact sheets for COVID-19 flexibilities, waivers
The updated provider-specific fact sheets include information about which waivers and flexibilities have ended, which are now permanent and which will end when the federal public health emergency expires May 11.
