The updated reports demonstrate the economic and jobs activity New York hospitals and health systems generate throughout their region, key healthcare services provided, community benefit activity and reliance on Medicare and Medicaid. We encourage HANYS members to share this message with representatives, local media and on social media.

HANYS' Project Firstline training extended

The innovative content of CDC’s Project Firstline, delivered by HANYS, provides infection control principles and protocols to non-licensed staff who are not required to take mandatory New York state infection prevention and control training. HANYS has been selected by DOH to continue delivering this program and, in addition to our robust training library, will offer more live webinars in the coming months.


Raise awareness of maternal health Jan. 23

This Maternal Health Awareness Day, Jan. 23, organizations are encouraged to shine a light on a cause of maternal mortality that impacts their organization or community. Resources, including social graphics and suggested text, can be found on the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists website.
