Responding to increases in youth experiencing mental health crises: Discussions with state agencies

This series is open to HANYS members and non-members.
The New York State Office of Mental Health, Department of Mental Health, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the New York State Council on Children and Families will provide an overview of recent efforts to prevent and respond to the increasing behavioral health needs of adolescents in New York state. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and share current experiences with the agencies.
HANYS’ two-part Responding to increases in youth experiencing mental health crises series is focused on challenges experienced by members reporting a sharp rise in adolescents presenting with serious mental health needs, and offers an opportunity to learn from and ask questions of experts.
