HANYS, in collaboration with the New York State Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology Coordinating Council, invites infection preventionists and those interested in healthcare infection control to attend our comprehensive virtual training program, which meets mandatory New York state training requirements for infection control and barrier precautions.

Attendees will establish a strong foundation in healthcare infection control and epidemiology, hearing from experts on topics like surveillance, risk assessment and plan development, and occupational health. They will also learn the fundamentals of infection control; the use of standard and transmission-based precautions; and cleaning, disinfection and sterilization for healthcare settings including acute and long-term care.
