Success with MDS: Part 2 of 7 - Medicare 101

The second event in the seven-part series of Success with MDS (Making Decisions Smartly) Webconferences will be held Tuesday, May 22, from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
In this segment of the series, Medicare 101, participants will learn the basics about the Medicare system. During this Webconference the following objectives will be covered:
Objectives:
- Understand entitlement, eligibility and applications of the benefit period
- Gain knowledge about services that are and are not covered by Medicare
- Understand the physician certification and re-certification process
- Be able to define the spell of illness and benefit period
- Explain skilled level of care criteria in the SNF
